A campaign website for Uniqlo’s T-shirt brand, “UT.” In keeping with the theme of the TV-AD, the website loops rhythms edited and submitted by the users. There were some technically challenging areas, such as building a new binary-level engine to sync audio with video on a constant rhythm, at the same time swiftly loading video in Flash.
ユニクロのTシャツブランド「UT」のキャンペーン・ウェブサイトを作りました。TVCMと同じ世界観のもと、ウェブサイトではユーザー自らが編集・投稿したループをひたすらエンドレスに演奏していきます。Flash上で高速に映像を切り替えつつ、常に正確なビートを刻むためにバイナリレベルでの音声合成エンジンを新たに開発するなど、新しい技術的実装も試みています。

A television commercial for Uniqlo’s T-shirt brand, “UT,” has been released. The ad was planned and directed under the concepts of “global expansion” and “T-shirt as a medium for self-expression.” The contents behind the project is extremely simple: we tagged along with the UT catalog photo sessions that happened in New York, London and Tokyo, captured models as they came out of the shoots, and ultimately re-mixed the samples. There is also the website that runs parallel to this project.
ユニクロのTシャツブランド「UT」のテレビCMを作りました。ユニクロ／UTが目指す「グローバルな拡がり」、そして「自由に自己を表現するメディアとしてのTシャツ」といったキーワードを元に、プランニングおよびCM監督を担当しました。ニューヨーク／ロンドン／東京にて行われたTシャツカタログの撮影に同行し、スチル撮影が終わったモデルをそのままムービー撮影し、それらのサンプリングを組み合わせてひとつの音楽を作る、というシンプルな内容となっています。全く同じ世界観でウェブサイトも作りました。

“UT WEB,” Uniqlo’s T-shirt store, has been renewed.
The search function has been simplified to select only the series and category of the shirts. Modifications were made for a more efficient flip-the-pages browsing.
ユニクロのTシャツ専門店「UT WEB」をリニューアルしました。
検索機能は性別・シリーズ・色のカテゴリを選択するだけのシンプルなインターフェースにまとめました。
また、画像表示機能を拡充する事で、雑誌をパラパラめくる感覚でストレス無くブラウズする事が可能になりました。

A special website “HELLO, WORLD! SoftBank” for the SoftBank telecommunications group (SoftBank Mobile, SoftBank BB and SoftBank Telecom) has been launched. The website proposes a new and fun place for the group to communicate their growing services and offers.
ソフトバンク通信3社（ソフトバンクモバイル、ソフトバンクBB、ソフトバンクテレコム）のスペシャルサイト「HELLO, WORLD! SoftBank」を公開しました。今後も増え続ける3社のサービスを楽しく知ってもらえるようにソフトバンクのひとつの世界観を作りました。
